Theme Box Q&A

  • What are Theme Boxes?

    • Theme Boxes are Boxes based on various movies, books, tv shows, etc.  They include my amazing baked goods, with the names or flavors changed to be according to the theme.  They also include various non-baked goods based on the theme, and the box that you select.

  • Do I have to pay when I sign up?

    • No!  Invoices will be sent out after the cutoff date for the Theme Box passes.

    • I send an email to confirm your signing up for the Theme Box, and to confirm all information.

    • Invoices will be sent out via Square using the email you provide when you sign up. 

    • Only people who have preordered Theme Boxes in the past, and not paid their invoice (invoice cancelled), OR have signed up and then canceled, will have to pay within 48 hours of signing up if they wish to order another Theme Box.

    • Upon signing up, I will contact you via email to keep you updated throughout the process.  Please, please be sure to check your emails upon signing up for a Theme Box.

  • Do you have Gluten Free options available?

    • Yes!  Most of my Theme Boxes now have Gluten Free options available. 

    • There may be a smaller amount of baked good options for the boxes as my menu is not completely gluten free. 

    • Gluten Free baked goods will be made and packaged separately from non-Gluten Free baked goods to ensure non-contamination.

  • Do you have Vegan options available?

    • Unfortunately, at this time I do not have Vegan options available for the Theme Boxes.  My menu is not completely Vegan.  I am hoping to have Vegan options available for the Theme Boxes in the future.

  • Why is the cutoff & invoice date so far away from the date of shipping?

    • Since the Theme Boxes have non-baked goods as well as baked goods, I need to have time to order all the non-baked goods for the boxes and ensure that they arrive on time.

  • Can I order more than one box?

    • Of course you can!  I have people who are ordering multiple Back to Hogwarts Boxes, one for each of their kids.  You can order multiple of any of the boxes.  They will ship separately.

    • Just fill the form out multiple times, using the same email, and letting me know that you’d like multiple boxes.

  • Do I have to order add-ons?

    • No!  Add-ons are a way to select things for your box that aren’t included.  Not all boxes have available add-ons.  You can select none, one, or multiple add-ons.  You can also order multiple of the same add-on.  When I email you confirming your signing up, just let me know and I'll make a note, and your invoice will reflect as such.

  • Can I change what box I order?

    • Up until invoices are paid for, yes you can change what box level you select. 

    • Once boxes are paid for, and the cutoff to pay for invoices passes, I begin ordering items for boxes. 

    • If you want to downgrade after invoices are paid you will not receive a refund as I've already ordered all of the items.

    • If you want to upgrade after invoices are paid, you may only do so if upgrade difference is paid immediately AND I have time to order the items from the upgraded box.

  • Something came up and I need to cancel my Theme Box order.

    • I’m so sorry to hear that.

    • Theme Boxes can be cancelled up until they are paid for.  After that point, I’m unable to refund any Theme Boxes as I’ve already ordered items for the boxes.

    • This stipulation is included in the Theme Box Terms & Conditions, and agreed upon when signing up.

  • How are the boxes shipped?

    • If you live within a certain distance from my kitchen, your Theme Box will be delivered.  Depending on my availability.

    • Otherwise, all Theme Boxes will be shipped out using UPS or USPS.

    • If you would like your box delivered and you live outside a specific distance, it will be an additional delivery fee, as well as being dependent on my availability. 

    • Any boxes that go out from October - March will be shipped outside of a specific distance.  NO EXCEPTIONS

  • Why are there only a certain number of boxes available?

    • Being a small business, and these boxes going out at the peak of Farmers Market Season and my busy season, I only have so much time to make these boxes. 

    • I am looking into opening additional dates for theme boxes if the original dates sell out.

  • Can I send a box to someone else? As a gift?

    • Of course!  You can send a box to anyone in New York State.  If you want to send a box to someone outside of New York State, the box will have to be one that just has non-baked goods as I cannot ship my baked goods outside New York.  I will suplement the cost of the baked goods for additional non-baked goods. â€‹

  • What Theme Boxes are going on right now?

    • The 2024 Boxes are as follows:

      • Back to Hogwarts 4

      • Spooky Season 2

      • I Put a Spell on You 2

  • What if I need Theme Boxes outside of the Dates Listed?

    • Having a party and want to give each attendee their own special box?  There is a minimum of FIVE boxes required (per Theme) and 6 weeks notice required.  No exceptions.  This is to ensure my schedule can accommodate you, and I can order all the required items for the boxes.  ​

    • Each box will ship individually.  You can choose if the boxes come to one address with the individual person's name, or if you want me to ship them individually to each person.
